Sam De Win (ex-Prophets): new Executive Creative Director of iO Belgium

Herentals, 7 July 2022 — Sam De Win named new Executive Creative Director of iO Belgium A familiar face to give Belgian campuses a creative boost.

After a period of growth - including 30 mergers and acquisitions, iO is now home to strategy, creation, marketing and technology expertise at an impressive scale. By acquiring the best agencies and the right talent, today iO is 12 campuses across Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Bulgaria. But that's only part of the picture, iO’s creative ambition is impressive, as well. 

That’s why Sam De Win was appointed Executive Creative Director for the four iO campuses in Belgium, Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Herentals. Before joining iO Sam was Creative Director of Prophets (now iO), taking home national (Creative Belgium, BOA, BOCA, Mixx) and international (Cannes Lions, LIA, OneShow, NY Festivals, Eurobest, Effie, Epica) awards in the process.

Sam De Win: ‘Great creative potential’

“I’m very grateful to Pieter Janssens for giving me this opportunity. iO has great creative potential and now it’s my job to showcase it. The campuses will also get their own Creative Director, and the recruitment process is in full swing. One of them has already been chosen: someone I’ve been wanting to work with for a while now. Unfortunately, I cannot say who that is yet.”
