iO gains strategic expertise with Pieter Baert

Pieter Baert who worked previously for Accenture, bpost's Future Lab and Prophets is now rejoining iO

Antwerp, 8 September — Pieter Baert has recently started work as a Business & Innovation Strategist at iO Campus Antwerp. The experienced service design and customer experience expert is no stranger: between 2010 and 2014, he helped to define the strategic lines at the digital agency Prophets — which today sails under the flag of iO.

For Baert it is something like a homecoming, although it’s important to mention that the house has undergone a major transformation since joining iO.

"It's nice to run into some familiar faces here, but it still feels like something completely new. iO is an ambitious company that’s growing rapidly, with a lot of possibilities. Breaking boundaries with a strategic view has always attracted me and iO is the perfect place for that."

Strategic thinking and creative action

Baert started his career in digital-focused MarCom agencies like Duval Guillaume, BBDO and of course Prophets. In recent years, he has used his experience as an innovation consultant and service designer for Accenture and bpost's Future Lab, among others. His CV also includes innovation projects at BNP Paribas, VRT, Board of Innovation, Craftzing and Pininfarina.

"My strengths lie in strategic thinking and creative doing. With my skills and energy, I want to contribute to the continuing growth of iO. I start with the belief that we can do better, to explore new directions with our clients. At iO, I can count on a large team of incredibly creative people to help make that happen."
