360° campaign - Who will you thank today?

Your neighbour walked your labradoodle. Your colleague gave you an uplifting pep talk for that presentation that you were nervous about. It's those little moments that all too often we take for granted.

It’s a shame to miss an opportunity to share a moment of joy, because what could be more fun than giving or receiving a heartfelt thank you? According to merci, a market leader in the gifting and sharing segment, it’s time we started showing our appreciation more openly and more often. iO built a 360° campaign around 21 September – National Thank You Day – with the campaign theme: 'Who will you thank today?'.

To boost this everyday moment of thanks in a festival-like way, this year, in collaboration with De Bruijn PR and activation and event agency Raúl&Rigel, we organised the National Thank You Day on Tour, visiting seven Dutch cities over five days with a special merci promotional truck. Alongside the tour, National Thank You Day was promoted on TV, radio (including Sky Radio: sponsoring Sky Top 5 over 9) PR, local media, and influencers with an extensive online campaign.

The National Thank You Day on Tour is the kick-off for the continuing development of a vibrant thank you culture in the Netherlands. The campaign theme will return regularly during the year to stimulate participation in everyday moments of thanks.
