The Adagio team consists of 50 experts specialised in—amongst others—Salesforce, Adobe and Oracle. With the acquisition, Intracto expands its current offering in marketing automation.
All marketing automation expertise in house
Managing director and founder of Intracto, Pieter Janssens, says, “Adagio brings substantially more knowledge to our group of specialists, which allows us to become even stronger in our domains.”
As such, Intracto invests in a company that lives at the intersection between marketing and technology. “Our acquisition strategy is aimed at enforcing our services both horizontally and vertically. Adagio is renowned in the Benelux and beyond as the leading expert in top technologies”, says Janssens.
The reference company in Benelux for omni-channel marketing
Lucas Decuypere and Ben Van Gorp, founders of Adagio, say, “Our offering for our clients is varied in terms of knowledge and services, but with Intracto we can now support them better, faster and—above all—with a broader offering. Together, we will be the reference company for omni-channel marketing. That we both have a solid footprint in Belgium and the Netherlands only bolsters our joint market strategy.”
Pieter Janssens adds, “As a company, we have decided to become the absolute expert in a few areas, marketing automation being one of them. The acquisition of Adagio will allow us to add new tools—Adobe, Oracle, Salesforce, and Veeva—to our existing specialisations in Hubspot, Selligent, and Sharpspring. That allows us to cast an even bigger net from now on.
“We aim to enhance the value of our clients for their own customers: from onboarding new clients through to the upsell and the increase of client satisfaction.”
Management remains actively on board
Adagio keeps its offices, and its entire management remains active and ambitious for the long term while it joins the Intracto group. In January, the founders announced the appointment of Stephan Crokaert as general manager to drive the company in the next phase of their growth plans. Joining Intracto is their next feat in being even stronger in the market.
