VRT joins forces with iO’s digital experts  ​ 

iO wins tender to redesign public broadcaster's online platform  

iO has won the prestigious tender to revamp the portal website vrt.be. In a competition with more than 15 agencies, iO emerged as the winner. This collaboration marks the beginning of a seven-year partnership.

This ambitious project aims to bring the public brand VRT to life even more and offer the Flemish audience a digital experience that engages them even more closely with their public channel. ​ 

Enriching brand and content experience  

With its three TV channels, five radio channels and digital platforms, VRT reaches 90% of Flemish people weekly. The new vrt.be platform will be an open hub where viewers and listeners can easily access all VRT-related content in one central place, from programme info and archive recordings to digital exclusives. The portal will focus on user-friendliness, accessibility and an enriched content experience so that every visitor feels at home in the world of VRT. ​
