Mediafin entrusts iO with the technical architecture of both the De Tijd and De Belegger websites
After transforming the digital ecosystem and editor, iO is now making Mediafin's newspaper sites future-proof and more reader-friendly.

Leading newspaper publisher Mediafin is entrusting blended agency iO with the development of its newspaper’s website's technical architecture. After 17 years of successful collaboration, during which iO built the digital eco- and content system, iO is now also going to work on the technical architecture to make the complex sites for De Tijd/L'Echo and De Belegger/L'Investisseur future-proof and more efficient.
Confidence in expertise and innovation
iO is overhauling the technical architecture of the newspaper sites. This includes replacing the current maintenance-intensive CMS with modern JavaScript frameworks and a lightweight CMS. This will reduce the total cost of the sites and ensure that the publisher can roll out future developments and new features faster and more efficiently.
Mediafin attaches great importance to its digital products' reader experience and user-friendliness. After the launch of the new sites, the introduction of future optimisations will be almost frictionless.
