iO launches magical end-of-year campaign for Brussels Airport
In the new campaign, blended agency iO presents Brussels Airport as the place.
December 20, 2023
Blended agency iO has launched a new end-of-year campaign for the country's largest airport. Starring: a girl with a magical snow globe on her way to the North Pole.
Brussels Airport, where dreams start
To bring together the magic of Brussels Airport and the end-of-year period, iO found inspiration in one of the holiday’s most evocative symbols of the holidays: a snow globe. In this stylised ad, a girl finds festive magic in every corner of the airport thanks to her snow globe. But is what she sees a dream or reality? The viewers can decide for themselves what they believe, but one thing is certain: Brussels Airport is the place where dreams start.
The film was launched online on December 13 and will also be in cinemas from December 27. The campaign also includes a key visual in print, DOOH, and JCDecaux's 3D displays at Winter Wonders in Brussels, one of Europe's most popular Christmas markets.
Close cooperation and in-depth expertise
Brussels Airport has been counting on iO for ten years — initially for a digital transformation and today for a wide range of blended expertise in marketing, creative concepts, technology, strategy, and more.
For this end-of-year campaign, Brussels Airport once again turned to the experts at iO. And that led to another successful result, says Catherine Hijazin, Brand Manager at Brussels Airport Company:
"We wanted this campaign to bring the magic of the holiday seasons to life at Brussels Airport. And this time, the magic doesn't just shine through the people who come together – it also shines through in the airport itself."
