Intracto takes a further step forward in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Frontmen

Intracto makes it possible for its clients to further distinguish themselves digitally with customised (web) applications by offering high-quality JavaScript knowledge.

Frontmen, specialised in frontend-technology, joins forces with Intracto. With the takeover, the digital agency Intracto will double the amount of team members in the Netherlands to 240, making it a top 10 agency in the Netherlands. Frontmen customers include Jumbo, Air France KLM, Rabobank, bol.com and Eneco.

The market needs more frontend expertise

What started out as a conversation over a cup of coffee soon resulted in a promising collaboration. Both Frontmen, under the wings of Auxilium Capital, and Intracto are known as strong growth companies and as front-end experts, Frontmen is the ideal addition to the full service proposition of the Intracto Group.

Pieter Janssens, CEO of Intracto Group: “Conversations with Frontmen have brought more and more common ground. Their javascript expertise in the areas of React, Vue, Angular and Node is the perfect complement to the specialties of our technical teams and the increasing demand for digital solutions from our customers. And the fact that they are a strong team at Frontmen testifies to the interesting cases and their growth”.

Remco Van Blitterswijk, founder and director of Frontmen: “Intracto gives us the opportunity to continue to operate from our own strength, but to use it even more powerfully. Our expertise in javascript frontend technology is an added value for the group. Together with our new colleagues we can take full responsibility for custom development projects and have even more impact. We can now completely relieve the client of all the worries; from thinking along with the digital strategy to realising apps and digital platforms.

The driver behind a good user experience is technology

Pieter Janssens: “Thanks to this new step we can become even more relevant to our customers and the end users of our applications. A good user experience plays an increasingly important role in the development of applications. This puts pressure on the technology that should enable apps to be available on any platform, work fast, integrate seamlessly with existing systems and meet the latest user requirements”.

Intracto with 600 team members now also in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven

The acquisition of Frontmen fits perfectly with Intracto’s growth strategy: whether the issue lies in strategy, technology, marketing and/or creation, Intracto wants to play a leading role in each of these processes and preferably even a combination of them. With more than 120 colleagues from Frontmen, the group around Intracto will grow to more than 600 team members. In addition, Intracto’s field of action is spreading further now that the 3 Frontmen branches in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven are being added. Pieter Janssens: “To be relevant to our customers, we need to be present where our customers operate. The fact that we are now present in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, in addition to Brussels, is fully in line with that philosophy”.
